Job Overview

The Night Auditor plays a vital role during the night shift, overseeing financial and administrative activities with attention to detail, organizational skills, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services: Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs, address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests to ensure high satisfaction.
2. Front Desk Operations: Manage check-ins/check-outs, reservations, room assignments, and handle phone calls and messages.
3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and guest interactions, ensuring privacy compliance.
4. Administrative Tasks: Complete filing, data entry, and prepare reports for the next day.
5. Nightly Reports & Reconciliation: Distribute reports, verify guest accounts, and prepare revenue summaries.
6. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Post charges/payments, perform end-of-day reconciliation, and close financial transactions.
7. Security & Safety: Monitor premises, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety of guests and property.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent or relevant experience.
• Experience in hotel front office or guest services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Extended standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs are required. Work is performed mainly indoors.
