We are seeking a Night Auditor responsible for preparing a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities reflecting the hotel’s daily financial totals. This role involves posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts, including additional guest transactions. The Night Auditor will also ensure files are maintained, systems are reset for the next day, and all financial activities are accurately recorded.
Regular attendance is essential. Employees with irregular attendance may face disciplinary action, including termination. Due to the hospitality industry’s nature, varying schedules and holiday work may be required. All employees must comply with hotel rules and regulations; violations may lead to disciplinary action or termination.
High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge.
Work is indoors with protection from weather; physical activities include standing for long periods, walking, talking, seeing, hearing, reaching, bending, grasping, and repetitive motions involving a computer keyboard. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work overnight hours.
Maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene. Dress in a neat, businesslike manner at all times to project the hotel’s professional image.
