Job summary

Holiday Inn Express is seeking a Night Auditor to provide exceptional overnight guest service while balancing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. You will support late check-ins, early departures, and secure operations throughout the night.

Responsibilities include auditing, reporting, and coordinating with housekeeping and management to address guest needs. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and comfort with night shifts (10 PM–6 AM).

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or accounting is preferred.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Proficient in computers; experience with Opera, HotelKey, or IHG PMS preferred.

• Perform nightly audit procedures: balance room charges, verify payment methods, and reconcile daily transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports to management.
• Monitor hotel safety and security systems during overnight hours.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and emergencies with professionalism and care.
• Communicate with housekeeping and management regarding guest issues or upcoming needs.
• Keep common areas of the hotel neat and tidy and stock coffee station as needed.
• Stock the market and guest amenities nightly.

Position Overview

The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the overnight hours while balancing the day’s financial transactions. This role ensures the accuracy of hotel records, assists guests with late check-ins and early departures, and maintains a secure and positive environment overnight.

• Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM – 6 AM), weekends, and holidays.
