Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure a smooth check-in/check-out experience and accurate financial posting at the Irvine property.

The role requires strong guest service, cash handling, and computer skills, with the ability to work weekends and holidays and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the hotel.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all AC Hotel Irvine standards.
• Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to count cash and make change in USD.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide warm, professional service.
• Check guests in and out; assign rooms as needed.
• Answer phones and take messages; relay information to front desk team.
• May make, confirm, or cancel reservations.
• Assist guests with taxi services when requested.
• Compute bills and process payments from guests.
• Replenish office and front desk supplies; restock store merchandise.
• Assist night audit team with posting and balancing shifts.
• Perform night audit functions for smooth system transitions.
• Attend meetings and participate in special projects as needed.

Pay Range: $21.00

TheNightAuditor creates a positive experience for all guests by delivering professional and pleasant service. Theyare responsible forensuring that the check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient and are also responsible for performing other front office responsibilities. Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Organize, secure, andmaintainall files and recordsin accordance withdocument retention andconfidentiality ofpolicies and procedures. Prepare,maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
