ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a NIGHT AUDIT

Albert Hotel is located on a three-acre site at 242 to 248 East Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX. The hotel is tucked away from Main Street behind historic buildings, offering a peaceful escape with quiet sophistication just off bustling Main Street. It features 110 guest rooms, including bunkrooms, suites, and a private house, each with tailored amenities, custom-designed furniture, and extras to make guests feel at home. The property includes three restaurants, a bar, a private dining room, and in-room dining. Guests can enjoy an outdoor lagoon-style pool, a fitness center, and a 2,000 sq. foot full-service spa. The hotel is also equipped with a 3,600 sq. foot event space, a 1,200 sq. foot mezzanine deck, and an event lawn, making it ideal for hosting events.

What you'll do:

  1. Support all aspects of the guest experience
  2. Organize pre-stay communications and planning, working closely with internal departments to create seamless experiences for guests
  3. Check guests in and out confidently, professionally, and personally
  4. Accurately and efficiently handle hotel reservations
  5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel availability, rates, and special events
  6. Respond promptly to guest comments and concerns, assisting with corrective measures when needed
  7. Open, secure, and balance shift banks, verifying all cash, credit card, and room charge transactions
  8. Audit and correct guest charges and postings daily
  9. Reconcile daily sales activity and close accounts for the next day
  10. Prepare and distribute daily reports
  11. Maintain accuracy with accounting and billing procedures
  12. Answer calls courteously and efficiently, maintaining logs and completing all tasks
  13. Possess fluent knowledge of local restaurants, events, attractions, amenities, and directions
  14. Maintain open communication with all departments and management to meet hotel needs
  15. Collaborate with leadership to set department goals and metrics
  16. Assist in supervising overnight team members as applicable

Who you are:

  • You have a High School diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of related experience in hospitality or service preferred
  • Available to work overnight shifts
  • Passionate about hospitality
  • Proficient in administrative duties and computer skills
  • Quick to learn new software programs
  • Enjoy building and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent at prioritizing and multitasking
  • Thorough with strong communication and attention to detail
  • Patient and calm under stress
  • Have a strong work ethic and can work independently or with a team
