Description

The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The role also involves attending to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, reservations, and answering questions.

• Proactive thinking, ensuring guest security, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
• Counting cash and maintaining accuracy of the cash drawer at shift start and end.
• Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
• Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
• Processing guest registrations and payments.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating shift information to relevant staff.
• Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
• Ensuring smooth shift transitions through effective communication.
• Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Answering inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and directions.
• Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
