Responsibilities include:

  • Audit, balance, and report on all hotel outlets (food and beverage, front desk, gift shop, etc.) to ensure accuracy, follow policies, and prevent fraud.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate information and services.
  • Handle reservations, inquiries, and guest concerns via phone and in person.
  • Audit, balance, and report on food and beverage cash and credit operations, including checks, deposits, and postings.
  • Audit, balance, post, and report on front desk activities, including room charges, phone calls, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and verify room information, generate daily reports, and manage nightly revenue balancing.
  • Greet guests, complete check-in/check-out procedures, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Operate PBX equipment for calls, wake-up services, and guest paging.
  • Perform duties of a Front Desk Clerk, including express checkouts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Accounting experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate computers, cash registers, and calculators.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills.
  • Moderate hearing and excellent vision for CRT screens.
  • Good literacy for reading reports and numbers.

Physical Demands:

  • 90% standing, frequent bending/kneeling, reaching all hotel areas.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Indoor, climate-controlled setting with prolonged standing.
