Job description

The purpose of a NIGHT AUDITOR is to compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain complete financial records. They perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to generate primary financial data for accounting records. They may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Comply with standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Run all reports required for Food and Beverage audits.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day's work.
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
• Operate the Front Office computer system.
• Perform all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Handle and follow up on all guest requests during shift hours.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
• Be familiar with all policies and house rules.
• Prepare and submit initial direct bills daily, attaching all folio/banquet check backups.
• Maintain communication with team members throughout the shift.
• Understand security procedures.
• Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and staff.
• Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
