Job summary

Hilton Grand Vacations in Charleston, SC seeks a Night Auditor to manage nightly auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions to support guest service and profitability.

This overnight role requires attention to detail, accuracy in cash handling, and coordination with Front Office. You will balance revenue, prepare reports, and ensure proper postings for guest folios, while maintaining excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year auditing experience.
• Minimum 1 year front desk experience.
• Previous cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Front Office duties as overnight guest service agent.
• Follow audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expenses.
• Identify causes of out-of-balance situations and report to management.
• Ensure charges posted to guest folio or master account with support documents.
• Reconcile charges to general ledger and close out shift for next day.
• Manage cash funds, deposits, and daily revenue reports.
• Perform front desk duties including check-in/check-out and cashiering.
• Assist with other departmental duties as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Front Office duties and is the overnight guest service agent.
• Follows proper audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions
• Identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations in a timely manner, produces various reports for management and takes initiative to correct errors to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensures that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with all supporting documentation
• Reconciles all charges to the general ledger and prepares back-up files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing system for next day of business.
• Responsible for accurate management of cash funds and daily shift deposits and compiles daily revenue reports and files work accordingly.
• Performs all Front desk duties including check-in, check-out and cashier procedures in a proper and efficient manner.
• Assists with other departmental duties as stated by leadership.

Key Skills and experience:

• 1 year Auditing experience
• 1 year of Front Desk experience
• Previous experience with cash handling
• Anticipates customer needs and thinks about how work impacts them.
• Builds confidence in self and others with honest and dependable interactions.
• Must be adaptable to working a variety of shifts, including on weekends as well as holidays.
