Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service and manages interactions with customers and employees.
• Audits and processes source documents according to departmental procedures.
• Assists in training and supervising staff.
• Notifies manager of discrepancies and assists in problem resolution.
• Familiar with all aspects of the Front Desk operations.
• Oversees day-end functions and ensures payments are secured.
• Oversees all close day functions in the Front Office and that all rooms are checked in and payments are secured. Maintains support documentation for established filing system.
• Assists all guests and other departments during the Audit shift in the capacity of manager on duty in their absence.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
• Audits and processes source documents in accordance with established departmental procedures to facilitate timely and accurate recording of hotel and related revenue.
• initiates the generation of and coordinates the distribution of various hotel system reports.
• Assists in training and supervising staff to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established job requirements.
• Notifies Front Office Manager of any potential discrepancies and assists with research and resolution of problems.
• Familiar with all aspects of the Front Desk, including all check-in and check-out procedures.
• Oversees all close day functions in the Front Office and that all rooms are checked in and payments are secured. Maintains support documentation for established filing system.
• Assists all guests and other departments during the Audit shift in the capacity of manager on duty in their absence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to obtain Parish Liquor License & Responsible Vendor's Permit.
• Demonstrated proficiency with adding machine and computer input terminal.
• Ability to solve mathematically oriented problems.
• Accounting background helpful.
• Clerical background preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
