Job summary

White Lodging, managing the JW Marriott Indianapolis, seeks a Public Area Attendant with a focus on leading the Night Audit team and ensuring a spotless, inviting environment. You will oversee overnight operations, balance revenue figures, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, plus basic accounting skills. A valid driver’s license may be required for some duties.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.
• Leadership and teamwork focus with ability to mentor associates.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with accounting procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Night Audit team, ensuring accurate revenue reconciliation and smooth overnight operations.
• Monitor and adjust staffing levels to meet guest service needs while maintaining labor model compliance.
• Act as Manager on Duty for the overnight shift, coordinating with Security and other associates.
• Prepare and distribute critical financial reports, including gross revenue and over/short reports, and ensure all revenue figures balance.
• Train, mentor, and cross-train associates to maintain a high-performing and knowledgeable team.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all.

Compensation range between $17.00 - $22.00 an hour!
