Job summary

Comfort Inn and Suites in Caldwell, Ohio is seeking a friendly night auditor to support overnight front desk operations from 11pm to 7am. You will provide guest services, check-in/check-out, balance cash and reconcile cards, answer phones, and assist guests with needs.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing reservations, posting charges, coordinating with housekeeping, and maintaining daily logs. Training will be provided to ensure smooth overnight operations.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests of the hotel.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures and balance cash.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and process payments.
• Answer phone calls and attend to guest needs throughout shift.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Be in required uniform, name tag, and earpiece.
• Greet all guests.
• Provide information about policies, services, and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests, sell rooms to walk-in guests, enter/change reservations in the system, post charges to guest accounts, process payments, make necessary changes to guest accounts.
• Inform housekeeping of any room changes.
• Listen and respond to the needs of the guest.
• Respond to guest complaints and answer the phone.
• Transfer calls.
• Clean the front desk area and surrounding area.
• Complete checklists, maintain daily logs, balance cash drawer.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
