Job summary

Hyatt Spruce Peak at Stowe is seeking an Overnight Manager to oversee all hotel operations during the overnight hours, ensuring guest service, security, financial accuracy, and seamless communication with daytime leadership.

The role requires supervising the Night Audit team, supporting guests and associates, and ensuring nightly audit procedures are completed accurately. Related front-office/overnight experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Front Office, Night Audit, or hotel operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of guest service and hospitality financial procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

• Provide exceptional service to guests, owners, and visitors, handling inquiries and requests.

The Overnight Manager is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during the overnight hours while ensuring exceptional guest service, security, financial accuracy, and operational excellence. This position serves as the primary manager on duty overnight and is responsible for supervising the Night Audit team, supporting guests and associates, resolving operational issues, and ensuring all daily financial and system processes are completed accurately. The Overnight Manager acts as a key liaison between overnight operations and daytime leadership teams, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of service for guests, owners, and associates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the Manager on Duty during overnight hours.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, owners, and visitors, handling inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Resolve guest complaints and service recovery opportunities with sound judgment and appropriate follow-up.
• Respond to emergency situations and guest incidents in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Ensure all guest arrivals, departures, and special requests are properly managed during overnight operations.
• Oversee Front Desk and Night Audit operations during overnight shifts.
• Complete and oversee the nightly audit process, ensuring all audit procedures are completed accurately and on schedule.

Pay Rate: $31.00 an hour

• Minimum of 2 years of Front Office, Night Audit, or hotel operations experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service, and hospitality financial procedures.
• Experience with property management systems and reporting software.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions without direct supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to navigate all areas of the resort, including stairways and outdoor environments.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
