Job summary

Athena Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including guest check-ins/outs, reservations, and daily reporting. You will balance daily transactions, perform audits, and support security walks to ensure property safety.

Key duties include preparing daily revenue summaries, maintaining accurate records, and training new Night Auditors while upholding brand standards and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve guest issues.
• Proficient with Windows systems, basic spreadsheets and word processing.
• Ability to stay calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Good numerical skills and ability to work with financial information.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a self-managed environment.
• Excellent listening skills and clear communication with guests and coworkers.
• Maintains composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards and varying schedules.
• Uphold proper uniform appearance and name tag as per brand standards.
• Run reports for Food and Beverage audit as required.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day’s work including revenue, postings, and desk agent paperwork.
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities according to Front Office procedures.
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Conduct nightly security checks and ensure areas are locked and secured.
• Handle guest requests during the overnight shift daily.
• Keep accurate records and logbooks per Athena Hospitality standards.
• Prepare and route daily revenue summaries and direct bills.
• Operate Front Desk software and telephone switchboard, providing smooth service.
• Assist with breakfast operations and knowledge of hotel amenities as needed.
• Train new Night Auditors when requested and support team members.
