Job summary

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bentonville South, in Rogers, AR, is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. You will greet guests, process check-ins/outs with accuracy, balance the day’s cash and card transactions, and ensure nightly close procedures are completed smoothly.

This full-time, on-site role requires availability for the 3rd shift, the ability to learn our Property Management System, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel experience is a plus.
• Availability for 3rd shift.
• Must learn and be proficient in the hotel's Property Management System.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out in a cheerful, accurate, and compliant manner.
• Process charges and balance close of day procedures with handover to next shift.
• Take and record reservations; track status daily and in the future.
• Observe cash handling procedures and manage the cash drawer and card transactions for the shift.
• Complete all closing of daily books and credit card batches.
• Review daily sales and flag issues to the General Manager as needed.
• Enter all sales and revenue data into the accounting system.
• Maintain the lobby coffee area and keep it stocked, clean, and organized.
• Keep the lobby and front desk area clean and organized.
• Set up and open continental breakfast for breakfast personnel.

Job description

Key attributes and responsibilities of the position include:

• Checks guests in and out in a cheerful, friendly manner, maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements and company standards
• Ensures accurate processing of charges and completes/balances close of day procedures with full handover to next shift
• Takes and records reservations accurately and confirms as requested; knows status of reservations on a daily and future basis
• Observes safe cash handling procedures required by brand and company policy and is responsible for the cash drawer, cash, and credit card information transactions for their shift
• Completes all company and brand required closing of daily books and credit card batch
• Reviews all daily sales for any issues, high balance accounts or comp rooms and alerts the General Manager as needed
• Enters all sales and revenue data into company accounting system
• Sets up/maintains fresh coffee in the lobby area. Helps keep the area stocked, clean, and organized
• Maintains a clean and organized lobby and front desk area
• Sets up and opens the continental breakfast for breakfast personnel
