White Lodging in Nashville is seeking a Night Auditor to join our hotel front desk and accounting team on a part-time overnight schedule. You will balance hotel transactions, run nightly audit reports, and deliver exceptional guest service while the world sleeps.

We train the right candidate with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction, offering growth opportunities across multiple hotel properties in your market. This role is PART-TIME and requires overnight availability.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk, night auditor, or hospitality experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate with the right attitude and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service during overnight hours.
• Sharp attention to detail and accuracy — you take pride in balanced reports, error-free folios, and a clean audit every night.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for hotel guests during overnight hours — assisting guests with check-in/check-out and requests.
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions at close, including credit card reconciliation and cash handling.
• Run nightly audit reports and prepare end-of-night financial summaries for management review.
• Explain standard hotel reports, folios, and procedures; act as on-site authority during overnight hours.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for hotel guests during overnight hours — assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally with all front desk functions including check-in, check-out, and special requests
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions at the close of each business day — including credit card reconciliation, cash handling, and change fund management as part of the nightly hotel audit process
• Consistently follow all hotel credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures in accordance with White Lodging standards and brand compliance requirements
• Run nightly audit reports, record all hotel revenues and statistics accurately, and prepare end-of-night financial summaries for hotel management review
• Read, analyze, interpret, and clearly explain standard hotel reports, guest folios, and emergency procedures — serving as the on-site point of authority during overnight hours
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all guest information and hotel data throughout every overnight shift
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Physical ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; full availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as a 24-hour hotel operation requires
