Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required and serves as the baseline educational credential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for guest interactions and internal communications.
  • Candidate should be able to multitask and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced overnight setting.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and hotel management software is expected for daily revenue posting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests and assist with overnight check-ins/check-outs.
  • Perform nightly audit procedures including reconciling and posting daily revenues and transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports per Night Audit Checklist.
  • Monitor front desk operations and handle overnight guest requests and inquiries.
  • Ensure the accuracy of billing, payments, and cash handling procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations or security concerns during overnight hours with security.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for shift activity, guest incidents, and audit reports.
  • Ensure a clean and organized front desk and lobby environment.
  • Communicate effectively with day shift staff to ensure proper hand-off and follow-through on guest or operational needs.

The pay rate for this position is $31.35


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 1 year prior experience in a hotel front desk or night audit position required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Open availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
