Job summary

Jabil in Florence, SC is seeking an Asst. Inventory Control Supervisor, Receiving, to lead day-to-day Receiving and Rackside Kitting operations and ensure timely material flow to support production.

Responsibilities include supervising the Receiving team, enforcing work standards, coaching frontline staff, and ensuring accuracy of SAP transactions, labels, FIFO, and kit staging. This role requires strong collaboration across Operations, Quality, and Planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, kitting, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with SAP and Excel; strong computer skills.
• Experience supervising frontline teams and daily execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Receiving team to meet daily priorities and staffing.
• Verify attendance and enforce labor policies.
• Lead start-of-shift and end-of-shift huddles with coaching.
• Ensure accurate SAP transactions for receipts and putaway.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; coordinate with Planning and Quality.
• Interface with multiple departments to resolve material risks.
• Be flexible to support overtime and cross-train in Receiving and Rackside Kitting.
