Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions leader, is seeking an Inventory Control lead for Florence, SC. You will oversee daily operations, ensure accurate shipping, receiving and stock records, and drive improvements to processing times.

Collaborating with department supervisors, engineering, program management and support teams, you will uphold safety and company policy while keeping data integrity. Hours: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations per inventory control procedures.
• Monitor department performance and suggest revisions to procedures.
• Strive for shortest processing time for all received material; recommend recovery methods.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and visuals are up-to-date and functional.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality teams; assist with scheduling issues.
• Interface with departmental supervisors, engineering, and program management.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping, receiving, and stockroom records.
• Verify aging of material in receiving and shipping locations.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts for manufacturing.
• Stock all material promptly and accurately.
• Identify performance issues and communicate with supervisors.
