Jabil in Florence, SC is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to drive daily operations according to established procedures. The role ensures accurate material movement, maintains records, and collaborates across shipping, receiving, quality, and production to meet timelines.

The shift is Thursday through Saturday nights 6:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m., with responsibilities including performance monitoring, process improvement, and maintaining tools and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments such as shipping, receiving, quality, and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations as defined in inventory control procedures.
• Monitor performance to ensure optimum results and suggest revisions to procedures as needed.
• Support in reducing processing times and identify recovery methods when necessary.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and visual aids are properly maintained and up to date.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with scheduling, documentation, and personnel issues.
• Interface with departmental supervisors and support functions within plant operations.
• Maintain accurate records for shipping, receiving, and stockroom activities.
• Verify aging of materials in receiving and shipping locations and ensure material accuracy.
• Ensure production line receives correct parts and that stock levels are accurate.
• Identify performance gaps and communicate with Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
