Job summary
AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, Florida, seeks a Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) to join our full-time team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with medical staff to deliver safe, coordinated care.
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing, Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, 1+ year ER experience preferred; fluent English, strong communication, and computer skills.
Qualifications
- Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and revise individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the factors affecting patients.
- Develop and implement care plans and adjust as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments safely following orders.
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and compliance.
- Coordinate care across disciplines for effective teamwork.
