Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care on a collaborative unit.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based outcomes. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required; six months of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AS degree in nursing required.
• Current Florida RN licensure or multistate licensure.
• Minimum of six months RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
