Job summary

Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital in Fayetteville, AR seeks an Overnight Admissions Specialist to support admissions, conduct assessments, and coordinate with families and clinical teams.

You will verify insurance, arrange pre-admission procedures, and ensure smooth transitions between care levels; this is a full-time overnight role from 7 PM to 7 AM with pay in the $19–$25 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s degree may be required in some roles.
• Minimum one year experience in a clinical or observational capacity.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
• Respond to inquiries about the facility within policy timeframes.
• Schedule/pre-admission assessments and communicate recommendations to patients or families.
• Coordinate admission and transfer between levels of care within the facility.
• Communicate projected admissions to internal stakeholders.
• Perform insurance benefit verifications and share findings with patients and staff.
• Ensure all admission documents are gathered and initial pre-authorization obtained.
