Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Screening in Englewood, CO to protect clients across tech/telecom sites. The role involves unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and providing courteous, proactive security support with emphasis on customer service.

You will report to site leadership, maintain documentation, and respond to incidents per site protocols. This full-time position emphasizes safety, reliability, and community-minded service.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, maintain clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional environment for all occupants and visitors.
