Allied Universal in Englewood, CO is hiring a Security Officer-Clearance Required Driving. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

This full-time role requires active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to respond to incidents calmly. The position offers $29.71 per hour with daytime/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• Valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership to support a positive environment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer-Clearance Required Drivingin Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an innovative technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access procedures. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team at Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $29.71 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing incident reports as required.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a positive and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
