Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Transport Registered Nurse to support NICU transports, including ground and flight, and to participate in neonatal and pediatric transfers within the Round Rock NICU network.

The role requires NICU experience, RN licensure, and the ability to follow Physician directions to stabilize patients prior to transfer. Ground and air transport coordination will be part of daily duties in the NICU setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Two years of relevant professional experience requested.
• Registered Nurse with valid RN license; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital care knowledge to assess and stabilize patients, and communicate effectively with physicians.
• Participate in trauma team operations and Rapid Response Team activities when possible.
• Contribute to achieving department and hospital targets with innovative ideas and solutions.
• Engage in ongoing education, team meetings, interdisciplinary reviews and trainings at department and hospital levels.
• Assist in developing and verifying patient care standards for transported patients.
