Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Round Rock is seeking a Transport Registered Nurse to care for high-risk neonate and pediatric patients in a mobile setting. You will assist NICU and pediatric transport and attend ground and flight transports as needed, following physicians' directions to stabilize patients before transfer.

Ideal candidates have NICU or PICU experience, RN licensure, and BLS certification, with 2+ years of relevant experience and a strong teamwork mindset within a hospital

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years of NICU/PICU or pediatric transport experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide vital care and stabilization for neonate and pediatric patients during transport.
• Participate in trauma and Rapid Response Team operations as available.
• Coordinate with physicians and transport teams to ensure safe transfers to NICU/PICU.
• Follow physician directions to stabilize patients before transfer to specialized care.
