St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist for Pediatrics. You will provide respiratory care to patients of all ages under supervision, following department guidelines and service excellence standards.

Responsibilities include timely documentation, airway management, patient assessment, and potential lead therapist duties. Required credentials include NBRC-RRT and state credentials, with ACLS/BCLS and pediatric life support obtained within

Qualificações

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT credential required
• RRT/RCP-State credential required
• Associate Degree required

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision, provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages per guidelines.
• Prioritize work, complete assignments in a timely fashion.
• Complete required documentation with accuracy.
• Demonstrate competency in airway care including suctioning, oral/nasal care, cuff pressure monitoring and extubation.
• Perform routine patient assessment and interpret respiratory dysfunction.
• Conduct quality control procedures as required.
• Uphold Company values and Code of Conduct.
• Gain competency in new procedures as they are adopted.
• Occasionally serve as shift Lead Therapist.
• Maintain SDH Service Excellence in all interactions.
