Job summary

St. Davids North Austin Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist focused on pediatric care. You will provide respiratory support to patients of all ages under supervision, following established guidelines and contributing to exceptional patient satisfaction.

Qualifications include NBRC-RRT, RRT/State license and an Associate Degree. Required trainings (ACLS, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, PALS) must be completed within the stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes work and completes assignments in a timely fashion
• Completes documentation with attention to detail
• Demonstrates competency in airway care and airway management
• Performs routine patient assessment and recognizes respiratory dysfunction
• Conducts quality control procedures
• Supports and adheres to the company’s ethics and compliance program
• May serve as lead therapist on some shifts
• Other duties as assigned
