Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist NICU for night shifts. This full-time position offers a $22,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and generous PTO.

You will provide critical respiratory care, respond to emergencies, and develop individualized patient care plans. Candidates must be RRT certified and licensed in Michigan with clinical exposure to pediatric and adult care.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required, CRT allowed if RRT obtained within 4 months.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred within 6 months of hire.
• License must be active in Michigan.
• Clinical exposure to all aspects of pediatric/adult respiratory care.
• Preferred certifications: PALS, NPS, ACC.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of respiratory care treatments to patients.
• Respond to emergencies, including airway management and Code Blue.
• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control practices.
• Support patient education and pulmonary rehabilitation.
