Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist for our NICU with night shifts (3x12h). You will support neonates in a fast-paced level 1 trauma center and provide ventilator management and specialized respiratory care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current license in state practiced as required by state law.
• BLS certification.
• Banner Registry requires minimum of one year in acute care setting.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire.
• Knowledge of clinical techniques and equipment used in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology testing across settings.
• Operates and manages mechanical ventilators; adjust care as needed.
• Assembles, maintains and troubleshoots respiratory care equipment.
• Performs patient assessments and documents therapy accurately.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and may supervise staff.
• May be assigned to multiple units within the system.
