Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to cover day shifts in the NICU at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The role features self-scheduling on a Sunday–Saturday basis from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with opportunities to work at other Banner facilities after training.

Previous NICU experience is preferred. As a Banner Staffing Services registry position, it offers competitive wages, paid orientation, flexible schedules, weekly pay, and other benefits; no guaranteed

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• RRT certification via NBRC required for new hires after Oct 1, 2015; incumbents must have RRT by Oct 1, 2017.

Responsibilities

• Perform all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed.
• Manage and adjust ventilators in collaboration with physicians.
• Operate and troubleshoot durable medical equipment for respiratory care.
• Perform pulmonary/cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed.
• Assess patients and document therapy accurately.
