Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care under physician orders. You will consult with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license in Oklahoma, NBRC RRT credential, ACLS; PALS for ER is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in Oklahoma.
• Holds Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC). For ER, PALS is required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Physical demands: push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs; kneel/crouch/crawl as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
