Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse to provide leadership and deliver professional nursing care for newborn patients. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while supervising staff and documenting patient progress.

A sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates. You will oversee care delivery for NICU patients, collaborate with the team, and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing required.
• BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients in the NICU and direct care based on patient acuity and staff availability.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed.
• Formulate and update plan of care based on patient assessment and identified needs.
• Plan, anticipate, prioritize and monitor delivery of care through critical reasoning.
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document and report data, patient responses and progress.
• Provide education for patients, families, and staff.
