Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse to lead and deliver high‑quality care for critically ill newborns. You will supervise care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure documentation and education for families.

This role requires BLS and NRP, an active RN license, and a nursing degree. A sign‑on bonus is available for qualified candidates, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NRP certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Licensed RN with active license.
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of patient care for a group of NICU patients based on acuity and staff availability.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Formulate and implement care plans based on patient assessment and identified needs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document data, patient response and progress; ensure accurate charting.
• Educate patients, families and staff about care plans and safety.
