Qualifications

• Must hold Montana RN license or multi-state compact license for MT; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience; new grads not considered.
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire.
• NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• STABLE must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, HIPAA, and confidentiality rules.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized nursing care using the nursing process for NICU areas.
• Maintain standards and adapt to changing workloads and patient conditions; stay calm and prioritize.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately; problem-solve to support patient care.
• Exhibit infection control practices and maintain safe clinical environments.
