Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT invites an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 12-bed Level III NICU team on the night shift. Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process as appropriate for RN’s as applicable to the assigned area(s).
• Maintains nursing standards of care and responds to changing workloads and patient conditions by prioritizing and asking for assistance as appropriate.
• Transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments both verbal and written accurately and efficiently as noted by chart reviews and observation.
• Documents all encounters with patients seeking health advice according to organizational standards.
• Provides individual instruction and education to patients and families concerning health and medical needs per department protocol.
• Assess and anticipates the needs of the patient and coordinates the necessary interventions as defined by policy, procedure and the written/verbal orders.
