Job summary

Elliot Hospital's NICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Newborn Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care to a wide range of newborns during nights. The role requires 2 years of nursing experience and NH licensure, with a focus on family education and high-tech, high-acuity care in a Level III setting.

Responsibilities include close patient monitoring, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and applying evidence-based practices to support safe, compassionate care for fragile

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN – BSN preferred).
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment – ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
• Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
• Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.
