Job summary

Elliot Hospital in southern New Hampshire seeks a Registered Nurse for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU is a Level III unit caring for critically ill newborns in a 26-bed unit with over 400 cases per year.

The RN will perform total body cooling, nitric oxide administration, close observation, and family education. Requires ASN or BSN, NH licensure, and BLS during orientation; ACLS preferred. Nights 7:00pm–7:30am; 2 years of nursing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN; BSN preferred).
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform total body cooling and nitric oxide administration.
• Provide close observation and intervention for critically ill newborns.
• Educate families and involve them in the care plan across shifts.
