Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal/NICU team. You will provide thoughtful, evidence-based nursing care, perform skilled assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to optimize outcomes for fragile newborns.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • WA RN license upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) through AHA upon hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months.
  • New graduate with NICU practicum preferred; NICU residency required if no nursery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized, comprehensive nursing care and perform skilled assessments.
  • Administer medications and document care per hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Prepare for discharge and coordinate post-discharge needs as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and maintain professional growth.
