In this role you will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and prepare patients for discharge. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and ongoing professional growth in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• 1-2 years med/surg experience or new grad with critical care residency.
• CPR/ACLS/PALS or ENPC certifications within required timeframes.
• BSN preferred in preferred section.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
• Administers, oversees and documents the administration of medications as ordered and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Assesses patient using physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental and spiritual needs; plans and evaluates care.
• Documents care delivered and patient status utilizing the nursing process; receives and assures accuracy of physician orders.
