Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• STABLE certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN license is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice and regulations.
• Incorporate patient age-specific development and cultural values into the care plan.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient care outcomes.
• May supervise students at the discretion of the area supervisor.
