Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the NICU. You will collaborate with providers and the care team, follow established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage, and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, while upholding the organization’s vision and values.

You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team to achieve quality outcomes, engage in unit activities, and demonstrate teamwork

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• 2 years experience Required Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
• Deliver quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing.
