Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a full-time, on-site capacity. The role requires leadership to coordinate care, ensure compliance, and continually improve patient experience and outcomes.

The RN Manager will oversee admissions/discharges, drive evidence-based practices, and mentor staff while partnering across departments to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a demanding NICU environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSN required.
• Active RN license in TX or compact license with TX eligibility.
• Minimum 2+ years in supervisory role in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Manage admissions and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination and assign staff with appropriate competencies.
• Provide leadership to achieve an exceptional patient experience and positive interactions.
• Review feedback mechanisms and implement strategies to elevate patient satisfaction.
• Benchmark performance to identify opportunities for service improvement.
