Job summary

St. Luke's Health - Memorial Lufkin, a 279-bed facility serving East Texas, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care and support recovery. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized care with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing and at least 1 year RN experience; BLS/CPR and NRP within specified timelines. Preferred: BSN. This is a hospital role with a strong emphasis on safety and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and at least one year of RN experience.
• CPR certification within 14 days and NRP certification within 6 months.
• BLS/CPR and NICU-ready competencies as required by role.

Responsibilities

• Assess admitted patients and provide nursing care meeting physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plan, implement, and document plans of care with patient/family involvement.
• Prepare patients for treatments and report changes to leadership and physicians.
• Reassess patient status and adjust care as needs evolve;
• Maintain a safe environment and relay comprehensive shift reports for continuity of care.
