Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in BLS and NRP upon hire or within a year after hire date and maintain clinical competency during employment with HHC in this role.
• Previous NICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by working with the interdisciplinary team, patients and families.
• Communicate and respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
