Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a NICU nurse to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a collaborative setting. The role requires NICU experience and CT nursing licensure, with BLS and NRP certifications either at hire or within the first year.

You will work within Hartford HealthCare’s Greater Manchester Region, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, developmentally appropriate care for newborns and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed to practice in Connecticut.
• Certification in BLS and NRP upon hire or within one year after starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team, patients and families.
• Communicate and document changes in the patient’s clinical condition and response to treatment.
• Deliver age-appropriate care across the life span.
• Promote the nursing profession through collegial support and collaboration.
• Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
