Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a skilled NICU nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care within a community hospital setting in Connecticut.

Using the nursing process, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicate changes in patient condition promptly, and ensure age-appropriate care across the life span. CT RN licensure, BLS, and NRP are required, with NICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• BLS certification and NRP must be obtained at hire or within 12 months and maintained during employment with HHC in this role.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.
• Communicates patient clinical condition promptly and accurately, responding to changes in condition or response to treatment.
