Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum three years of clinical practice in a specialty area.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Demonstrated leadership as a charge nurse, preceptor, or educator.
• Strong problem-solving and complex decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess staff knowledge and skills using standardized tools.
• Identify learning needs through observation, interviews, and focus groups.
• Design education that aligns with organizational goals and policies.
• Develop annual educational calendars and preceptor programs.
• Create objectives, lesson plans, handouts, modules, and tests for education programs.
• Serve as faculty at organization-wide education events.
• Evaluate learning activities and adjust education plans accordingly.
• Propose and secure funding to expand education programs.
