Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an RN to provide safe, patient‑centered care across a full‑service hospital setting in Nevada. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and uphold the system values while supporting new mothers and newborns.

Qualified candidates will have Nevada RN licensure, BLS, and desired neonatal experience; STABLE/NRP timing expectations apply. This role offers strong benefits and opportunities within UHS’s multi‑facility network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate. NRP within 6 mo. of hire. STABLE within 6 mo of hire.
• Neonatal nursing experience preferred.
• Two years nursing experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with policies and standards.
• Give professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Educate new mothers and care for infants; develop and implement care plans.
• Create goals, treatment and discharge plans aligned with patient needs.
